As our name suggests winding has been and still is a core part of what Hereford Rewinds Ltd. does. Our engineers are time served and trained to carry out rewinds whether AC, DC motors or generators. We wind square section copper and have bobbin winding capacity. Whatever needs winding speak to Hereford Rewinds. With our 24hr on-call system we will be able to help.
Hereford Rewinds Ltd has the facilities to wind coils whether round section or square. Coils are used in many different applications which include the following:-

· Contactor coils
· Brake coils
· Magnetic chucks
· Solenoid coils
· Transformers
· Alternators / Generators
· Wind Turbines
· Wet wound submersible motors
Our coils can be varnish dipped and oven cured or resin impregnated depending on the application. In addition the Insulation Class of the copper held in stock is Class F but Class H can be sourced same day if necessary. All coils are surge tested by our SKF Baker tester to ensure a perfect coil.
